A Bigger Love Moment – The Eat Street Mega Heart

Big spaces deserve bold statements, and the new Mega Heart at Eat Street Northshore delivers exactly that. Designed to replace the original smaller love sign, this installation now welcomes visitors at the West Gate entrance, creating an unforgettable moment just before guests step into the laneway.

We custom built this impressive 1.8m x 1.8m heart using aluminium for strength and durability, making it ideal for a high traffic outdoor environment. To ensure long term performance, we integrated our specialised waterproof fittings throughout the build, maintaining a strong weather rating without compromising aesthetics.

The outer edge of the heart features our cabochon bulbs in a crisp Pure White 6000K, introducing a fresh, modern glow and showcasing this newer colour temperature within the Eat Street precinct. Inside the heart, we used a classic red cabochon finish to create contrast, warmth, and that instantly recognisable love heart look.

To complete the installation and ensure guests are perfectly lit for photos, we added two 9W spotlights mounted discreetly on the container behind the heart. The result is a striking entrance feature that not only draws people in but lights faces beautifully for that must have arrival photo.

This Mega Heart has quickly become a new landmark within Eat Street, proving that when scale, colour, and thoughtful lighting come together, the result is pure magic.
