Vintage Lightbox Restoration at Regal Cinemas, Graceville

We had the opportunity to breathe new life into some classic light boxes at Regal Cinemas in Graceville, blending modern technology with vintage charm. These smaller light boxes, designed to display prices and deals, are an integral part of the old-school aesthetic that Regal Cinemas is known for.

To restore them, we used 2700K Mini modules, providing a warm, soft glow that perfectly complements the cinema’s nostalgic vibe. The small size of the modules allowed us to maintain the compact design while ensuring a consistent, bright illumination. Additionally, we replaced the acrylic panels with fresh ones and incorporated our easy acrylic lettering system, making it simple to update the displayed information when needed.

To enhance their appearance, we painted the light boxes black, giving them a sleek, modern finish that contrasts beautifully with the warm light. These vintage-style light boxes are a perfect match for Regal’s retro feel, offering a blend of functionality and style that adds to the overall ambience. Whether showcasing the latest deals or ticket prices, they now stand out with a warm glow and a fresh, sophisticated look.
